Export Story - Bringing Vietnamese wood pellet products to the European market.
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has caused significant disruptions in the energy market, pushing prices for many energy sources to unprecedented levels. Reducing gas imports from Russia and limiting coal supplies has led Europe to seek alternative energy sources. In this situation, biomass fuels, including wood pellets from Vietnam, have found new opportunities.
However, businesses in Vietnam still face challenges in meeting international standards and certifications such as ENplus and FSC for exports to the European market.
Mr. Le Xuan Hoa is a shining example of dedication and success in the negotiation and export of wood pellets to Poland in October.

Mr. Le Xuan Hoa shares: "I believe that in the current era, with the development of international trade and the wealth of information resources on the internet, any young person can participate in the field of import and export. Our Gen Z generation has a significant advantage over the previous generations (such as Gen X or Gen Y) because we have been exposed to the internet from an early age. This gives us easy access to information about our industry and the ability to connect with international customers. Let's say, 20-30 years ago, if you didn't know English, had no capital, and no connections, engaging in international trade would be nearly impossible. But today, even if you don't know the language, you can use Google Translate, and there are abundant potential customers you can find through online platforms like Facebook, Alibaba, Amazon, and more. There are numerous advantages for young people to get involved in international trade in general and import-export in particular."

Mr. Hoa also shares further advice with suppliers: "Stay patient and resilient in pursuing the decisions you've made. In your interactions with customers, it's crucial to understand their needs and ensure that you provide the exact product or service they are seeking. When demand surges, your enthusiasm, honesty, and precision will guarantee your success in completing orders."
